My Camera Broke >__<

Hey all ~~~
I haven't updated in SOOO long, because my Camera broke, the lens won't focus>< all pictures are blurry and dark lighting. it's SONY CyberSHOT, the cybershot is a pretty , modern, sleek camera, but the picture quality are so so during the day. At night with only little lighting, it perferms BADLY. I mean the pictures come out are DREADFUL!!!!~~~~

I am looking for a NEW camera.. perhaps fiji films?? Nikon or Cannon?? Any one have any suggestions??

I did buy a few things over the weeks, but can't update because of NO CAMERA~~~~
it's bothering me >< but I want to pick a good one, with good picture quality, correct colour pick up. Reading forums.............

Any suggestions??

    I am so sorry about your broken cam! Are you planning to purchase an SLR or regular non professional camera? if it's non SLR, maybe Canon? if it's SLR , Nikon :)

    A sony cybershot was my first camera and then I needed to upgrade it cuz it got too bulky. I really like Canons, since they give you the option to play with the colors and such (don't know how to describe it, but it's fun!)

    I have this a SD1100IS in pink. This camera is LOVE for me :)

    Hm, I would get the Canon PowerShot SD790 IS (or any recent model). The PowerShot series are pretty good, all of the reviews I've read about them were positive for the most part. A few of my friends have the PowerShot with different models but they all like them all the same. It's a point-and-shoot camera and suits your needs if you're just looking for a basic camera to shoot things with. If you're more serious and see photography as a hobby or something, you can invest in a dSLR if you'd like, but for just taking nice quality photos, I'd get a simple point-and-shoot. It's a pain trying to take self-portraits from a dSLR, I tell you! ~_~ I wish I can buy a point-and-shoot right now. Just for the convenience!

    I say sony! I have tried both canon and sony compact cameras before and find that sony cameras are much better. They produce really sharp pictures, especially when it comes to macro shots. The shutter speed for sony cameras are also faster than canon ones (for mine, at least), so clear photos can still be taken even with shaky hands ;)

    I have a sony ultra compact one for point and shoot. It's pretty old so the pixels arn't that high but I love how it can fit in a clutch with no problem. =) I actually dropped it a few times and it's still fine! I would say go for sony because you are used to the controls, etc. If you are thinking DSLRs then definitely Nikon. =P

    ahhh sorry that happened. i think soon i will have to update my camera. The lens is okay just that where the bateries are hehe i have to hold them in using a rubber band!!! ooo gosh hehehehe.

    i have a Fuiji Film Finepix i LOVE IT just is getting old i suppose.
