[] Eyeliner Show Down~~~~~

Hey all ~~~~
Today just gonna do an eyeliner comparison. Pretty much comparing the staying power and water resistancy. I got a couple eyeliner here that I have, I'm not sure if it's common ones where everyone have these but hope it's informative.

Here's all the eyeliners laid out. from Left to Right:
- Palgantong Eye Tatoo Eye inner Crazy Black
- Integrate slim liquid liner (black)
- L'oreal lineur intense liquid eyeliner felt tip (mica black)
- Dejavu lasting fibre eyeliner (24 hours)
- Majorlica Majorca eyeliner black
- Prestiage waterproof eyeliner
- Mac technikal eyeliner
- Mac powerpoint eyeliner in Duck
- Mac fluidliner black track

Lets put it to the test shall we?? LOL
The liner drawn is in the same order listed from left to right

This is what it looks like perfectly after drawn onto my arm and waited for the liners to dry. No base applied.

This is what happens when I rub the top of the liners quick vigorously....

This is what happens when I rinse it under water and slightly slide my finger across the eyeliner up and down.
So clearly, rubbing and water takes off the liquid eyeliners plus the majorlica majorca eyeliner. The rest stayed pretty solid. So clearly Mac ones are pretty durable and so is the dejavu one.
Here's the ranking of eyeliner's staying power.
1. Mac fluid liner black track/ Mac powerpoint liner
2. Mac technikal liner ( though I would use this for lower lash line only.. too soft for the upper lid)
3. Prestiage waterproof eyeliner / Dejavu 24 hours eyeliner
4. Majorlica Majoca eyeliner
5. I think all the liquid eyeliners there seem to be rubbed out pretty fast. Even though the Palgantong one says it's waterproof. But the Integrate one stayed on a bit better after rubbing.

To take eyemake up off at night, I use the Pond's cleansing oil. Something my mum bought for me when she went over seas from watsons. A drugstore kind of place in Asia.

That's all for the eyeliners. Any questions please leave it in the comment box. ^^

This is me at the Mac x Disney Villians launching event at Myer. LOL The SA there make me dress it all up and take a photo.. quick fun actually though I didn't but any thing from this collection.

[]Kate[] Powder Gel Eyeliner

HiHi
SO happy, because I received my postage on Friday and It had my Kanebo Kate powder gel eyeliner in it. I bought the Blue and Brown one as I have the black one from MAC already. So I'm going to do a review On it.

First of all, I was supprised as to how SMALL the pot is compare to MAC Fluidline. LOL I mean it is REALLY tiny but cute at the same time. So the left 2 pots are Kate's and the right one is MAC fluidline in Blacktrack.

So now is a swatch of the 3 eyelines.
Top: Kate's Brown gel eyeliner,
Middle: Kate's Blue gel eyeliner,
Bottom: Mac Fluidline Blacktrack

So you can see from the swatch that the Kate's powder gel eyeliner has some tiny glitter in it so I don't recommend using it for waterline and Not exactly sure if it's safe for contact lense users because I can't read Japanese but I'm sure it's safe to use an outter liner. So the staying power, I would say it is as good as Mac's fluidliner or may be even better. It lasted me 9 hours+ & NO smudging and No flaking off. This is definately water& oil proof. So I guess it would come in handy in summer days and wedding type occasions when you might get emotional and cry =p.

As to removing this stuff, I would have to say It is harder to remove than MAC fluidliner, I tried it with 2 different eye make up remover the first one was just with Garnier gentle eye makeup remover. It removed my MAC Fluidliner but the Kate's powder gel eyeliner didn't even BUDGE. I was like WOW. So I got out my second make up remover, which is the QV face gentle eye makeup remover, and This one removed the eyeliner with ease. The difference between the 2 makeup removers are hat Garnier is water based and QV is oil based.

Let me explain how and why this works. Every one knows that oil doesn't mix with water, this is because water is polar and oil is non-polar. SO if you have something that is like an oil you need another oil or something non-polar to remove it because water doesn't mix with oil so it just sits on top of it instead of dissolving all that make up.

So If you have a good make up remover which removes other water-proof make up then it will be fine with removing Kate powder gel eyeliner.

So my score for this would be 4/5 because I didn't imagine it would come in such a SMALL pot LOL.. but it's a great product so I definately recommend it!!!!

Take cares every one have a great weekend!!!! =3

NYX Eyeliner

Hey all
I recently bought NYX eyeliners, I got 6 of those. This is gonna be like a swatch and review..so stay tuned.

NYX Cosmetics Eyeliners

Photo: With Flash, Without Flash
Left to Right: Black, Dark Brown, Brown, Light Brown, White, Silver
Review
Colour: The colour it self as you can see from the photo that it's quite pigmented. And the colour are as how it's described, but the dark brown and black looks similar without flash. In real life there's only a subtle difference. I LOVE the white eyepencil.. put it at the inner corner of your eye and makes the eyes looks bigger.. (i think all white /silvery eyeliner does that.. lol)
Ease of Use: The pencils are not Soft, but not Super Hard either. I have tried some other brand eyeliner pencils and it hurts ur eyes to put them on in the first place >_<. any hows. It's medium hardness pencils, goes on pretty easily and if you make a mistake it can be easily fixed. For a natural look (without those harsh lines), just get a Qtip and smudge the lines a little bit and apply some dark eye shadow next to the lash line.. and Walah.. natural looking eyeline accomplished. Also, they are pretty easy to be removed. I can even remove them in Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser...
Staying Power: Talking about staying power.. it's kinda bad. I want to love them but the staying power is not that great. If MAC fluidline was on a scale of 10, this would be a 5 I think. I had semi panda looking eye by the end of the day... and had smudges in my lower eyelid.. But it's safe to use on water line... I put it on my lower waterline and nothing happened.. no reactions.. so that was good..
Overall: I personally think there are other better eyeliners out there. But for its price it's ok to give it a try if you just want an eyeliner.. so a score of 6/10....
