Hey all ~~~
I purchased the Naked Basics a while ago, been using it now and then. Its quite popular amongst the beauty world, it is really hyped up, but I personally not a big fan of it.
The texture is really smooth, the packaging is great, sturdy, doesn't get finger prints all over it.
the shadows are buttery soft, the lighter colours can be a bit chalky if applied too much. but I don't see the hype. there are 3 really similar light colours, WOS the pink toned one doesn't suit my me at all, because I am asian and yellow toned. The Naked 2 is the worst. it shows up grey on my eye lid. and it looks dirty.. like just looks like I put dirt all over my eyes. I tried it over MAC groundwork paint pot. seems a bit better, but I don't like that brown/grey tone.
The colour Faint is a nice brown. but is dupable. i found that MUA single eyeshadow matte in colour 19. is really really similar. can't tell the difference once its on the eyes. the black is really pigmented. you can use it as a liner or darken up the whole look.
Here's some swatches.
The top Row is swatched with no primer. the bottom row is swatched with UDPP.
you can see that the Naked 2 colour is this dirty brown grey colour. not a Fan. Not sure whats all the hype is about. I'm swapping it away in MakeupAlley. username Tomatosauce.
let me know if any one is interested.

[] Stila Lovely in London Travel Pallete Review & FOTD[]~~
Hey all ~~
I bought the Stila Lovely in London Travel Palette, because the colour really attracted me also the cute packaging. last year I got the Stila travel palette in Haute in the Hamptons. Click HERE to see the review for that.
So the palette is a bit different to other palettes last year is that it flips open vertically. instead of from right to left like a book. but I don't really mind that.
This is what the front looks like.
This is what the colours look like. you got 5 eyeshadow colours and 1 cream covertible colour for lip and cheek. eyeshadow colour:
top = Notting Hill
left = Tower Bridge
right = Duchess
bottom = high street
middle = castle
So for the swatch, top light pink colour is the primrose cream convertible colour.
Then the darkest brown is high street.
then last row from left to right is castle, notting hill, tower bridge and duchess, all colours are matte, except for duchess which is a pearly colour.
For today's FOTD, I used these products:
- Sofina Primavista Perfect Fit foundation in 03
- Nars Laguna bronzer
- Bare Minerals Rose Radiance (as blush) over Primrose
- Urban decay primer potion
- Prestige waterproof eyeliner in black
- Active Girl full long mascara
- Mac Modesty lipstick
- Mac brow gel in begiule
- Stila Lovely in London Palette
So here's what the eye makeup look like.
- used castle all over the lid up to the brow bone
- then notting hill up to the crease
- duchess in the first 1/3 of the top eyelid
- used tower bridge all the way in the lower lashes.
- then used high street as an eyeliner colour for top lid and 1/3 in the outer lower lash
- applied black eyeliner pencil
- top off with mascara and done.
The photos are taken in natural in door lighting. excuse the not groomed eyebrows.
It is actually a really autumn colour, because it's so brown and coppery. I really like it. could be used in summer if you add a bit more gold. I think it suits warm skin tone really well. The primrose convertible colour is a bit too light for my skin tone. I didn't like it on my lips. on my cheeks barely showed up.
here's my normal look with glasses.
I highly recommend you go out there and buy this travel palette, for $16, and it's worth it I think.
Have a great week every one.
P.S. recovering from a cold.

[] Gun metal Grey Obsession[] ~~
Hey all ~~~
I am obsessed with this Gun-Metal Colour. a bluey/metallic grey. I think it's such a cool colour where it changes with different lighting. I recently picked up the Benefit crease less cream shadow in Busy Signal and Strut. Busy Signal is a coppery brown colour, where as Strut is the gun metal blue. It can be used as a shadow or eyeliner.
The quality is amazing. I find it better than Mac's Paint pots, and also it lasts on my eyelid without creasing as much as MAC PP. but the product will dry out if you didn't tighten the lid. so I wanted to try this out with a FOTD just to see how it turned out.
List of Items I used for this look:
- Princess Eye Lashes, hand made from taiwan in number 7
- Duo eye lash glue
- Sofina, Primavista powder foundation in Ochre- 03
- Nars Laguna Bronzer
- Bare Minerals Rose Radiance all over face colour
- Urban decay naked palette
- Benefit crease less cream eyeshadow in Strut
- Mac brow set in Beigule
- Mac Craving lipstick
- Prestige waterproof eyeliner in black
- Urban decay primer potion
- Maybelline Colloso Mascara( forgot to put in the picture)
Above: taken under natural indoor lighting
Here's some swatches:
- top is Bare Minerals Rose Radiance as blush
- Urban decay Sin all over the lid
- Urban Decay Gun Metal in the crease
- Benefit Strut as base.
- Mac Craving lipstick
Above: photo taken with flash
Here's what the whole face looks like. I think it's quite dramatic. Probably an evening look too much for me during the day.
A closer look at the ye make up. The eye lashes looks quite natural. not as dramatic as I though.
The colour is more dramatic in real life.
Probably get more use out of Busy Signal even though strut is such a pretty colour I feel like it is too cool toned for my warm yellow toned skin. What do you all think?
Have a great weekend every one ^^

[] November Favourites~~ []
Hey every one.
can't believe how quickly the year has gone by.~~~ it is already December !!!
Been busy busy busy this year and felt like it's gone by so fast. alot of montly favourites video has uploaded onto youtube.
So I Figured that I will do mine too.
Australia is getting hotter and hotter every day as summer approaches. so here are my favourites of the month.
Makeup items:
- Urban Decay Naked Pallet
Most used colours ( Virgin, Sin, Toasted, Hustle)
been using this item every day pretty much, because it's so easy you don't have to think about it when you are in a rush in the morning.
- Urban Decay Primer Potion
wow.. so creamy.. more creamy than the TOO FACED shadow primer... just love it.
- NARS Laguna Bronzer/ Rimmel Shimmer Bronze in 022
Addicted to bronzers for some reason, just want that bronzed healthy glow look !!!.
but some times i'm scared to over do the bronzer..as my body /neck isn't tanned yet.
- PERFECT FOUNDATION MIX
I've been mixing these two foundation. half half each.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Light intensity 01
Bourjois Healthy Mix in 53
This month I've been mixing these two foundations, 1 to 1 mixture. gives me the perfect foundation I think. Long lasting from ELDWL... and the Dewiness from Healthy Mix... just WOW.
you guys definitely should try this mixture.
- NARS Luster
combined with the bronzer just gives the most gorgeous glow on the cheek, look so healthy.. LOVE.. great for summer !!! and also great paired with a golden/brown eye look.
Skincare Items:
- Naruko Raw Job's Whitenings Tears Whitening Gelly
been using this every night.. just lovely..
- Naruko Raw Job's Whitenings Tears Whitening Serum
nice serum not sticky. absorbs quickly.. makes my skin supple when i wake up next morning. as for whitening effect.. don't see any yet.. though it does lighten my acne scars and pigmentations.
- Naruko Facial Whitening Illuminating Cotton Pad
gets rid of dead skin cells yet gentle enough to be used day and night.. just a really good buy. highly highly recommended!!
That's all for this months..
I signed up for Glossybox Australia. see what will they send to me in December.
Happy weekend every one.

[] Urban Decay Naked Pallet~~[]
Hey all ~~~.
I bought mine from www.beautybay.com
That's because there are just too many people selling fakes on the internet.. hard to find a honest seller as it is not available in Australia.
It comes with a eyeshadow brush instead of the double ended eyeliner. as well as a travel size UDPP.
This is what the back looks like.
The packaging is a velvet brown with gold letters..
What the pallet looks like once you open it. contains some shimmer/matte/ satin colours.
ranges from pale white shimmer to dark black colour for evening.

The travel size UDPP is quite cute. can just throw it in your purse.
Here's the swatches. applied on top of UDPP.
Virgin, Sin, Naked, Sidecar, Buck, Half Baked, Smog, Dark Horse, Toasted, Hustle, Creep and Gun metal.
Another picture of the swatch.
gun metal is a really pretty colour............
hopefully will use these colours to do a look soon. in the mean while i've been using Virgin, Toasted and Hustle every day. ~~~
Great pallet with great convenience.
Finally decided to get the Infamous Urban Decay Naked Pallet... A bit late to jump into the hype revolving around this pallett.. Not to mention that URBAN DECAY is releasing Naked 2 Pallet soon.~~~ Saw some pictures and swatches on Temptalia website. I'm glad I bought this one.. the colours for Naked 2 don't really appeal to me.
