New Nyx Lip Products.. ~~~

 Hey all ~~

I recently purchased some nyx lip products from ebay. it came in within a week. really fast. I was really interested to test out the Nyx butter glosses and the lip creams. so I picked up a few to try out because I heard good things and raves about them in the beauty community.

 Products:left to right
- Nyx butter gloss in vanilla cream pie
- Nyx butter gloss  in apple strudle
- Nyx butter gloss in tiramisu
- Nyx lip cream in San Paulo
- Nyx lip cream in Antwerp
- Nyx mega shine lipgloss in beige

Here are the swatches.
Top row: vanilla cream pie, apple strudel, tiramisu
Bottom row: Antwerp, San Paulo, Biege

NYX Butter Glosses:
I am typically not a lip gloss person. because I hate the sticky thick feeling of glosses. like MAC.. they are nice colours but i just can't wear them. but these. OMG I love it !!!. its like putting melted vaseline on your lips. so soft none sticky. it smells AMAZING !!! my favourite colour is the vanilla cream pie. love all three colours I purchased. highly recommended.

Nyx Lip Cream:
It's a matte product, with no shine. it dries really matte, I like it alot too. none sticky. lasts a LONG time. but the only thing is it settles into lines and dry cracks. so before you use this make sure you scrub your lips and moisturise with lip balm. but other wise.. great product. Antwerp is a really nice coral/ pink. great for summer

Nyx Mega Shine lipgloss:
This one smells amazing too, the colour is gorgeous. really nice pink not too outrageous. but i prefer the butter glosses, because the texture of this gloss is really slippery. doesn't stay as well as the other one. but then both of them lipgloss types are none sticky.

So I highly recommend you try these lip products. really love it. and for the price you pay I think they are really comparable to high end products.

Have a great weekend.

[] Nyx round lipstick haul ~~[]

 Hey all ~~
Lately I've been on a lipstick kick. wanted to try out different colours, but didn't want to fork out lots of money. and Nyx lipsticks are so affordable, and great quality. reviews say it's like putting butter on your lips. they are right about that. the texture is super soft. and highly pigmented. and it comes in so many oclours.

So I got 6 lipsticks plus one I had from before. so here's my Nyx round lipstick collection:

The lipstick is arranged in the order of ( Left to Right):
- Fig
- Doll
- Thalia
- Indian Pink
- Chaos
- Tea Rose
- Pumpkin Pie

It's smart how they have a swatch of plastic colouring at the bottom of the lipstick, so you know what colour you are looking for. makes think much easier.

So here's the swatches for your guys.
Top Row
Fig, Doll, Thalia, Indian pink

Bottom Row
Chaos, Tea rose, Pumpkin Pie

Here's a picture of me wearing Fig.. I like that colour.. not too crazy pink. wearable.

have a great weekend guys.. ~~~

[]Rimmel product REVIEW part 1[]

Hey all,
Rimmel London is pretty much in every priceline, drugstore, target and other stores. It is a well done none-expensive makeup brand which provides re seasonable good quality products. I would say some of their products are even comparable with high-end department store.

This is the New ad for their Rimmel Lasting Finish lipsticks. the model's name is Zoey. She's gorgeous.

So here are a list of things I have from Rimmel London and one Nyx lipstick that I wanted to review as well.
Top:
Match Perfect 2 in 1 high light concealer
Nyx lipstick in pumpkin pie
Rimmel Moisture renewal in Spotlight Beige
Rimmel Moisture renewal in Vintage Pink
Rimmel Lasting finish in Airy Fairy
Rimmel Lasting finish in Asia
Rimmel Eye brow pencil

Middle:
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
Rimmel Natural Bronzer powder in 022

Bottom:
Rimmel Lasting nail polish in sunshine
Rimmel Lasting nail polish in tangerine
Rimmel Pro professional finish in icon style
Rimmel Pro professional finish in hypnotise

Here's some swatches of lipstick on hand
Picture taken under natural sunlight with no flash. Indoor bathroom lighting.
Left to right:
Nyx lipstick in pumpkin pie
Rimmel Moisture renewal in Spotlight Beige
Rimmel Moisture renewal in Vintage Pink
Rimmel Lasting finish in Airy Fairy
Rimmel Lasting finish in Asia

The bottom is the eyebrow pencil and bronzer next to that.

Here's some Swatches on the lips
These pictures taken under natural indoor bathroom lighting
No flash used.
Here are my bare lips.
Nyx pumpkin Pie:
a smooth moisturising lipstick with a beige nude colour but doesn't make me look DEAD. quite like it, but the lasting power is so so.

Rimmel Moisture renewal in Spotlight Beige:
A deeper peach beige nude color. I really like this one. I got it from Ebay. Don't think they sell it in the stores, I only saw nude delight which is too light for my Nc20 skintone.

Rimmel Moisture renewal in Vintage Pink:
I saw swatches of this color online, it was so beautiful, but when I bought it and wore it. It's more purple than pink. very cool toned colour. It's similar to Revlon color burst mauve but even more purple. Think it doesn't suit my warn skintone.

Rimmel Lasting finish in Airy Fairy:
This is a very famous color, On me it looks natural pink. just simply love it. it is a lasting finish formula but on me it doesn't really last. But I love the colour so much I bought back ups of this. Also I saw swatches online, Mac Fabby is the exact dupe. If they discontinued this you can buy Mac Fabby for replacement.

Rimmel Lasting finish in Asia:
This color is a bit more browny/rosey. no shimmers. Looks my lips but better kind of colour.
Not too dramatic and suits my NC 20 skintone. Lasting power is so so as well.

Overview of Lipsticks:
Rimmel do make really nice lipsticks. the moisture renewal formula is great if you have dry lips. and they just recently came out with new Lasting Finish Formula I haven't tried it yet. tell me how that goes if you tried them.

Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil:
The pencil is great , lasts all day even with my oily skin. it's not too pigmented so that you can build up the colour and if you make mistakes you can rub it out. I use this every day So really like it. Also has a brush on the cap to brush out the brow hair so make it a more natural looking.

Rimmel Natural Bronzer:
Believe it or not, i like this better than my NARS Laguna bronzer. reason being this is matte finish and not too pigmented, has more of a warm tone and you can build up the color. fool proof. does'nt make me look dirty or orange. I LOVE IT!!!!. HIGHLY recommended. If you want a more natural bronzer I suggest this and it's soooo much cheaper compared to the Nars Laguna bronzer.

GO out there and try this bronzer!!!!

That's all I have to say for these products. Part 2 coming up.

Any questions or suggestions please leave in comment below.

Enjoying my Enchanted Land ~~

Hi all ~~
LOL you're probably wondering what's up with the post title.. Well~~ there's a story behind it.
So in a beautiful enchanged land there's the greenist grass and the field of blooming flowers... sounds so cliched... but it's gonna be a spring look ~ (even though it's still sumer in Australia)

I found this picture from some where I don't remember exact but it looks so beautiful~~ I think it's the YSL spring collection but I could be wrong.. but she looks so pretty.. (drools)

Well I tried to replicate the look.. I think I failed T__T the colours didn't turn out as vibrant as her. may be is my camera or something.. any ways~~~

Things I used for the look
Face:
- Estee Lauder Double Wear Light(02) Mix with Dr Jart Bb cream
- Mac MSF natural in light/medium
- Nars Gilda Blush
- Nars Laguna bronzer

Eyes:
- MAC Paint in Bare Canvas
- NYX Flamingo
- NYX Deep Purple
- Majolica Majorca shadow Pallete GR-750
- MAC technikal liner in black
- L'oreal Liquid eyeliner in Mica Black
- Cover Girl Volume Exact Mascara

Lips:
- Revlon superlutrous lipstick in Soft Seude (pretty lipstick I like)

So How did it turn out???

I think the Gilda Blush kinda matched up with the lipstick suprisingly well... I just realised. I thought that Gilda would be too orange/peachy On me.. guess it turned out ok

A Better view of the bottom eye colour (green)...

Here's some freaky PhotoShopped pictures HAHAH~~
Was just mucking around cuz I was bored after dinner ....

Here's another one with my hair down~~~

So what you think?? Like it?? Did I do a good job?? (o^__^o)
But Honestly; I don't think I would wear this look out~~ not my style I guess I like neutral colours when I go out.. this is too flashy.. Looks good for magazines ~~~

Hehe That's all for today~~~
P.S Thank you every one for leaving comments on my blog ~~~
If you have questions please post them in C-BOX it's easier to reply and find my replies I guess...

Finally, after 3 LONG weeks

Hey all
I'm slow at blogging these days. But some how i'm kind of obsessed with MAC now.
been wondering around MAC stands in department stores... I picked up a few things from MAC. and FINALLY... my NYX eye shadows came in through the post.. HAPPY...

here's what I got.

Top: trio in baby pink, barely there, cotton candy.

Bottom: Flamingo, Deep Purple, Oro and Champaign.

Didn't have time to do a swatch. so I will do that soon. But the Oro looks weird.. thought it would be a orangy color rather than a brown taupe?? may be the seller made a mistake??

So onto MAC. I swear how slow Australia is compare to USA and other countries in any thing.. technology, make up and fashions. >__<>

So I went to the MAC stand and bought my self Warm Soul. at first i was going to get Nuance, but it was too peachy and light in colour, didn't really show up on me. but Warm Soul.. Is beautiful!!!. Love every single grain of that stuff =p.. may be i should get my self a back up, not like i will ever finish this one.
And as I was there, I picked up some other stuff too. From Stephy's review on MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Duo, I went to try it and I LOVE it.. though the shimmer is a bit too shimmery but I like it.. I also got my self a Eye Paint in Bare canvas and Lipstick in Juiblee. I wanted to find a Nude color lipstick, but after I bought it, I think juiblee is a bit too dark on me ><.. SAD...

Here's a swatch of the warm soul & MAC MSF Duo.

The Top is the matte side of MSF, the middle is the shimmer part of MSF and the bottom is warm soul. it looks soooo pretty. I find that MSF is so much more convinient than Everyday Minerals. I don't apply it with my brushes, instead i use it with a Sponge. I think using a Dry Sponge on MSF gives a better coverage and longer lasting too.

OK Here's a new discovery for today..

I was surfing other people's Blog and I came across this particular one as I was looking for review for the new MAC starflash collection. and She is SOOOO pretty. I will steal a picture from her site to show you what i'm talking about and I will link her blog too. Arora is her name. Check out her Blog. and here's 2 pictures from her blog.

NYX Eyeliner

Hey all
I recently bought NYX eyeliners, I got 6 of those. This is gonna be like a swatch and review..so stay tuned.

NYX Cosmetics Eyeliners

Photo: With Flash, Without Flash
Left to Right: Black, Dark Brown, Brown, Light Brown, White, Silver
Review
Colour: The colour it self as you can see from the photo that it's quite pigmented. And the colour are as how it's described, but the dark brown and black looks similar without flash. In real life there's only a subtle difference. I LOVE the white eyepencil.. put it at the inner corner of your eye and makes the eyes looks bigger.. (i think all white /silvery eyeliner does that.. lol)
Ease of Use: The pencils are not Soft, but not Super Hard either. I have tried some other brand eyeliner pencils and it hurts ur eyes to put them on in the first place >_<. any hows. It's medium hardness pencils, goes on pretty easily and if you make a mistake it can be easily fixed. For a natural look (without those harsh lines), just get a Qtip and smudge the lines a little bit and apply some dark eye shadow next to the lash line.. and Walah.. natural looking eyeline accomplished. Also, they are pretty easy to be removed. I can even remove them in Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser...
Staying Power: Talking about staying power.. it's kinda bad. I want to love them but the staying power is not that great. If MAC fluidline was on a scale of 10, this would be a 5 I think. I had semi panda looking eye by the end of the day... and had smudges in my lower eyelid.. But it's safe to use on water line... I put it on my lower waterline and nothing happened.. no reactions.. so that was good..
Overall: I personally think there are other better eyeliners out there. But for its price it's ok to give it a try if you just want an eyeliner.. so a score of 6/10....
