Sigma F80 brush review. ~~~
Hey all ~~~
I wanted to do a brush review today, saw a lot of positive reviews on the Sigma F80 brush for buffing in foundations. So I decided to give it a try because my Everyday Minerals flat top kabuki brush is quite old now. may be about 3 yrs old? but still good. ~~~~
So I bought my brush from the Sigma Website, it came in at about 1 week since the day of order. so the shipment is not bad. It came in the blue cardboard packaging with a pamphlet talking about other brushes in the collection. (see picture below)
So I wanted to compare the Sigma F80 to my Everyday Mineral Flat Top Kabuki brush.
Comparing the two, the handle of F80 is longer, I actually prefer the longer handle. the way you buff while using the brush is different to Everyday Minerals. I feel like i tend to press harder against my skin while using Everyday Minerals.
Fiber wise, both brush have synthetic fibers, super SOFT!!!. the density is quite similar, it's just that the fiber in F80 is shorter than EM flat kabuki. not much shorter though may be about 3 mm.
So this is a top picture to show the fiber density and the size of bristles. so Left is F80 right is EM flat kabuki. sorry its a bit dirty, just used it for my powder foundation.
I like both brushes, can be used for multiple things. liquid foundation, cream foundation, powders, minerals foundation. but I prefer the F80 for liquid foundation. gives a SUPER nice finish!!!. Love it, highly recommended.
Please leave question and comments and tell me what you think about Sigma Brushes, and or other brushes you would recommend me to try.
sigh Monday blue for me ~~~~

[] Bare Mineral Foundation/ Before & After + thoughts[]~~
Just wanted to do a further review of the Bare Minerals Original Foundation in Medium Beige, showing before and after pictures. So you can see how much coverage it does and what's the finish like.
You could also use a flat top kabuki brush for a heavier coverage, but I find flat top a bit hard for an even distribution as it tend to pack alot product on the area when you first start to buff on your skin. So I personally like to use a dense kabuki brush.
Okay... lets have look at my skin bare under natural sunlight with no photo shop. no flash no nothing. As you can see, lots of sun spots, freckles, uneven skin tone. large pores. acne scar. and even scars from the recent allergic reaction to God knows what~~~~
T___T cry............................................. but never the less......
So here is is completely with bare minerals foundation in Medium Beige.
It covers most of the unevenness of the skin tone. Covers may be about 50-60% of the acne scars. It does a great job with the pores too. So for one layer of this product you can achieve about light to medium coverage depending on how much product you use and the pressure you use when you buff it in.

First Fake Lashes~~~~
Some one requested a Graduation Look.. ~~~ I did the exactly the same make up, except I added the fake eyelashes..~~~ I did the exactly same make up for my graduation day.
I thought that fake lashes wouldn't be hard, but took me a while to stick it on in the right place>< I'm a noobie...
Here's the things I used for the look.
- Dr Jart BB cream silver label
- Everyday Minerals semi-matte foundation in fairly light neutral
- Nars Laguna bronzer
- Nars DT blush
(NOTE: the bb cream's colour is abit too ashy.. so the fairly light neutral kind of makes the colour more yellow)
Eyes:
- Mac paint pot in bare study
- Mac fluidline in blacktrack
- Majorlica Majorca eyeshadow in BR 751
- Kissme Heorine mascara
- fake lashes
Lips:
- Mac modesty lip stick
- Revlon lipgloss in Nude Lustre
I love how the eyelashes looks.. kind of dramatic, yet makes you look semi natural.. HAHA contradictory but o wells~~~
hehe I haven't updated on Mac for a long time.. I stalked him today hahaha =D
So cute.. Sleeping with one arm under him another one tucked under LOL =D

Top 6 Lip products
I've seen videos on youtube from people stating their best 6 lip products. So I thought I wanna do it too, though I'm not officially tagged or any thing but I want to share my thoughts on lip products.. so ^___^
So here's a picture of the 6 products I recommend
Left - Right:
1. Lancome Juicy Tubes
2. Revlon Superlustious Lip Colour in Soft Suede
3. Everyday Minerals lip treatment gloss
4. Shiseido Integrate lipgloss
5. Revlon lipgloss in nude lustre
6. MAC lipstick in Jublee
The review & recommendations
1. Lancome Juicy TubesOne of my first lip products, I got it years ago but only use it in special times because I remember it was REALLY expensive back then and the colour should be melon but not too sure because it got rubbed off. any ways, the texture is glossy, smells nice, show a hint of colour so you can still see your natural lip colour. It's great for a natural everyday look. Also it's handy to bring it around. The best I like about it is the applicator, it fits perfectly.
2. Revlon Superlustious Lip Colour in Soft SuedeThis is one of my first lip stick, like my first ever lip stick. I love the colour soft suede, if you have a chance go to the shop and have a look. It's a rosy red/coral colour, not too strong it's beautiful really complements yellow toned skin I think. This colour matches and brings out the vibrant colour of my own lips. texture wise, never too dry never too oily. ( lol sounds like the Kraft peanut butter commercial). It stays on pretty well, but it's not transfer proof so if you kiss your bf, it will show on him =p
3. Everyday Minerals lip treatment glossI got this with my everyday minerals purchase, I wanted to dry it because the reviews on Makeupally was good. I got it in the colour plum dust. I love this colour. it's a soft plum not too brown not too red love it. The colour shows up pretty good, but it's not exactly a gloss, atleast I wouldn't call it a gloss. the exact texture is like your average lipbalm + colour. The best thing about this is it helps nourishes your lips while giving you a hint of beautiful colour. It feels exactly like a lipbalm on the lips but the only bad thing is it doesn't stay that long.
4. Shiseido Integrate lipgloss
I got this one recently from a website called Ichibankao, along with eyeshadow palletes, sunscreen and other things. I love this, it's so shimmery it's EXTREMELY pretty over a lipstick because it has very fine shimmery glitter which adds to that shine it already has. The applicator is really cool, it's a flat piece of rubbery plastic which has a hole in the middle for the product to come out and applies easily never messy. And the thing about this one is it's REWINDABLE, by that I mean if you twist too much product out, you can twist it back never waste any. GENIUS!!!
5. Revlon lipgloss in nude lustreThis is one of my fav lip products because it has the best texture in gloss, has a brush applicator. Not sticky and the colour nude lustre is gorgeous, would suit any one with any look. It has no shimmer just glossy. Love it.. you have to try it..~~~
6. MAC lipstick in Jublee
My first MAC lipstick. Why I picked this colour?? because I was looking for a browny/pinky colour to be specific I think it's a nude beige pink colour. But I hate MATTE finish lipsticks, does absolutely NOTHING for the lips. this is a lustre finish, so it's sheer in a way but the colour pay off is good. you can say it's like a semi-glossy finish. I love this colour it helps as a final step to make me look awake, not too BROWN.. just the right amount of shades to make the perfect lipstick. I bring this one everywhere with me. I found that the revlon soft suede might be a bit too bright for winter/autumn use. This is a PERFECT colour for winter/autumn I think. Though a PLUM colour would suit winter too. But go swatch it if you pass a MAC stand..
One last product I would recommend for those have chappie lips, use SOFTLIPS made by Mentholatum, I have it in alot flavours my favourite is the Rasberry one =p. Orange one is not bad either.
That's all for lip recommendations. I'm not particularly TAGGING any one, but if you want to share your top 6 lip products, you're welcome. Actually I'm kind of Curious too =p. So Tell me what are your 6 top lip products. ~~~
Take cares have a great week.

Everyday Minerals Brush
From left to right:
foundation brush, eye shadow brush, concealer brush, flat head buffing brush, long handle kabuki brush.
Foundation Brush
I use that to apply my primer. I usually use EDM silk dust or finishing dust. Though i like finishing dust better because it helps to control oil during the day and your foundation would last longer. That brush is not from EDM, but it's very soft never scratches and applys a decent amount of powder
Eye Shadow Brush
I normally use baby bath all over the lid for every day look because it's not too over the top and helps to brighten my eyes. i love oasis too, but the glitter is a bit too shimmery for day time look. the eye shadow brush is so good, it has its multipurposes. you can use it to patt on the EDM eye shadows, sweep it on, dabb it on, and very good for blending also. the bristles are not too hard not too soft just the right amount for the multi purposes.
Concealer Brush
I use the concealer brush to apply my EDM concealers around my nose and under the eyes. I normally use mint concealer around my nose and on my blemishes and then neutralise it with my multi-tasking concealer to make it look more like my skin colour. The brush is ok wise, not as good as other concealer brush i have used. but it still does its job.
Flat Head Buffing Brush
This brush is ultra soft. Doesn't scratch at all. It is used generally for a heavier coverage. But don't put too much mineral make up on the lid because this brush picks up every thing and may give a cakey look. if you have dry spots, it's definately not the way to go. but this brush helps to do ur mineral makeup in large areas so if your in a hurry then it gets the job done fast.
Long Handled Kabuki Brush
This brush is similar to the flat head buffing brush, same softness and doesn't scratch at all. The only difference is that this brush is round and doesn't pick up as much of the powder in just one spot and allows a natural look for skin. ( may be that's just me) alot of people like this one in particular.
If you are not sure which one to get you can try makeupalley and under the brand everyday minerals they have the review for the two brushes. Which is really helpful.

Everyday Minerals eye shadow
so excited. just received my second order from everyday minerals i think i have an addiction to this ordering online thing. kept on looking at their site now and then. any ways; i received this order only 1 week and 4 days after i ordered it. pretty fast for international shipping.
I ordered eye shadows this time because i found my match of foundation. pretty lucky on the first try. Here's what i Ordered:
Custom Kits Mini Eyeshadow Kit
- Snowflakes
- Emerald Eyeliner
- Floating Feathers
- Dark Brown Brow Colour
- Cypress
- Dairy
- In the Garden
- Silver Spoon
- Thank you
- Baby Bath

I also ordered mint concealer and Email Me Blush. they are so pretty. haven't taken any pictures yet. But might upload later. can't wait for EDM to have their new site up and running with all the new products. I personally really like Snowflake & Dairy. The colour of Baby Bath is really good too; it's subtle but u can still see. and if you use it with Oasis. looks fabulous for brown eyes.
hehe experiment the different colours and see which you suits you the best. i'm still in the process of experimenting with all my new eye shadows.

Everyday Minerals
Here is what i ordered:
Personal Custom Kit - Full
concealer: Multi-Tasking Concealer
brush: New Flat Top Brush Brush Size
foundation: (Beige) Beige-Fairly Light Intensive
foundation: (Buff) Buff-Light Neutral Semi-Matte
finishing powder: Finishing Dust Large
eye color: Oasis Large
Free Sample Makeup Kit
concealer: Multi-Tasking Concealer
foundation: (Cool) Cool-Multi-Tasking Neutral Semi-Matte
foundation: (Buff) Buff-Beige Neutral Intensive
blush or face color: Everyday Bronzer
foundation: (Buff) Buff-Light Neutral Original Glo
The foundation is like WOW, goes on so well and has great coverage not too thick and look cakey. But do have one concern that is if you have dry flaky skin it will show. so make sure to scrub and moisturize well. So instead of just reading those review; i'm glad that i give it a try plus the price is so affordable. not like some other mineral make up out there which will make ur wallet bleed.
oh and I love Oasis!! it's such a beautiful colour, a lightbrown/gold with shimmer not too dramatic and so pretty for people who has brown eyes. so i went ahead and purchased the 10 mini eye colour kit. But not too sure about the staying power; though eye makeup base is recommended to enhance the colours.
