[] Nail Polish Collection & NOTD ~~[]

Hey all~~
Just going to do a Nail Polish Collection today. Because I added a new member to this collection.

Think my favourite nail polish brands are OPI and Rimmel. First OPI has great range of colours, great quality. you can't beat that. then Rimmel is just cheap affordable, and the quality isn't bad for the price. I would say China Glaze in sort of in the middle, it has great colour ranges, but the polish some times becomes gummy, hard to dry and also with some polishes, it's either Hit or Miss.

So I took picture of the polishes I currently have in my collection.

Top LTR:
- Sephora by OPI Metro Chic
- OPI barefoot in barcelona
- OPI tickle my francey
- OPI you don't know jacks
- OPI Paris de Vous

Bottom LTR:
- China glaze for audrey
- China glaze ingrid
- China glaze sunset sail
- China glaze sea spray
Top LTR:
- Essie eternal optimist
- Essie not just a pretty face
- Essie minks & muffs
- Rimmel hypnotise
- Rimmel lively lilac
- Rimmel tangerine queen
- Rimmel Sunshine.

So the new polish that's added to the family is Rimmel's Lively Lilac. Saw it at the shop and fell in love straight away. first thing that attracted me like a magnet. HAHAHA.
I love purple and pastel colours are great for spring. Well it is spring in Sydney right now. bought it for $5.00

This is what it looks like.. Great pastel purple colour.
So the NOTD is using Rimmel lively lilac and China Glaze's sea spray another pastel colour.
I like it alot.. don't know what you all think ^__^

have a great weekend............

[]Rimmel Product review part 2[]~~

Hey all
this is my second part of the Rimmel products.

Nail Colour:
- thumb (Icon style)
- index (Hypnotic)
- middle (Tangerine queen)
- ring ( Sunshine)

- Rimmel makes great nail polish colours. I picked two summery colours and two reds.
I got the Rimmel I love lasting finish in tangerine queen and sunshine. This formula dries quickly and you can apply two coats under a minute and you don't have to sit here and wait ages for ur nail to dry. But it is quite prone to chipping. The colour didn't last really long on my fingers.

-Rimmel pro lycra professional finish nails are great. I got it in the colour of Icon style and Hynotic. Iconstyle is a all time classic red suit my slightly tanned yellow tone skin quite well. I don't usually wear reds it's a bit too daring for me. But this one is great makes you feel classy without being too poshy. HAHAHAHA I love the hypnotic colour. It's a red berry colour great for autumn and winter. LOVE IT. I wore it for one week without chipping.

- Rimmel Match Perfect 2 in 1 concealer & highlighter is a great item for under the eyes. I don't have really bad eye bags but a slight dark under circle. It covers my dark circle nicely, and brightens the eye area. Doesn't crease too much after about 6 hours it starts to crease a little bit in the lines. It's not drying at all. Hight recommend this product.

- Rimmel Stay Matte powder in translucent. This product is similar to Maybelline dream matte powder, It's a nice setting powder but a bit drying for winter /autumn because it tends to show my dry patches if I put on too much. I honestly prefer my Laura Mercier Mineral powder, gives that extra bit of coverage and sets the make up at the same time.

That's all for this post. A short one. Can't believe it's JUNE already..............

[] Beauty Products of 2010 []

Hey all
Just wanted to do a post on all the things I've been loving 2010. I've seen alot of gurus on youtube have done videos on products of 2010. The best one I think is Emily, Beauty Broadcast. I love her Emily Awards. So I thought I'd do one too, just every thing combined and no skincares just make up. So here they are.

Foundations

I always use the Estee Lauders Double Wear or the Double Wear Light, Even though it's a bit thick and full coverage, I use a sponge and soak it in water then squeeze all water out and apply foundation with the sponge, it makes the foundation sheer and stay on all day. I usually use Laura Mercier Mineral powder to set the liquid foundation.
For Powder Foundation, I use the Cezanne UV EX powder foundation and the Coffret D'or Essence Powder Foundation. This is the 2009 Version. They both are great. the Cezanne one is more coverage and I use the Coffret D'or one to touch up foundation, looks more natural.

Primers
Estee Lauder Cyber White Ex, I've been using this all winter in 2010. Great sunscreen/primer because it gives great sun protection, very moisturising, none drying and it helps with my large pores. The RMK one i use in spring/autumn it has some glitter/shimmer to give that extra glow and soft focus effect. The Orbis UV Cut, I use it in Summer, because it is light and controls oil great Since i have combination skin.

Blush
Nars Deep Throat, My Go-To blush, if i'm in a hurry or don't know what to wear. I usually go for that one as you can see Hit pan already. During Winter, I used Penny Lane cream blush great colour Love it, I some times top it up with another powder blush usually DT. Another great blush I love is the Mac Stereo Rose, Limited Edition. This blush gives the most healthiest Glow and a flush of colour on the face. Flattering on Asian Skin tone too. And The last one is Mac Springsheen, a great spring/summer blush. gives your cheeks that Golden Glow.

Here's the Swatch For the Blushes.

Eye/Eyebrow Products
- Lavshuca Eyebrow Set
- Mac Beguile Brow Gel
- Too Faced Eyeshadow Insurance
- Dejavu 24/7 Liner (great pencil liner stays all day great pigmentation too)
- Mac Powerpoint liner in Duck (great for brown eyes, because it's not as harsh as black and stays all day too)
- Prestiage Water Proof eyeliner (another great staying power eyeliner)
- Kiss me Active girl mascara ( LOVE LOVE LOVE)
- Kiss me Heorine long/curl mascara

EyeShadows
LOL I find all my fav eyeshadows are Neutral.. I guess i'm a neutral fan

- Coffret D'or Shine in 01
-Stila Limited Edition eyeshadow Mazatlan
- Visee Nude Glam (N-2) Been using this one nearly every day
- Integrate Be-303 for more casual days because it's a bit more shimmery but still pretty

Lips

I don't think I'm much of a Gloss person, because it is so sticky and always feel there's something on my lips. so I usually wear lip balm and occasionally or when ever I'm going out I will wear lipstick just to be a bit more girly.
- Mac Lipgelee in Moistly ( hint of berry colour on the lips)
- Benefit La La Land ( beautiful rosey colour on Lips) paired with natural eye makeup. LOVE
- Rimmel Airy Fairy (shimmery pink)
- Mac Modesty
- Mac Blankety

Here's a swatch of Airy Fairy On my lips. A nice wearable Pink doesn't look to pink just right.

So here's the swatches for the lip products from left to right same order as listed above.

Nails
Been into nails this year, started to explore the different nail colours and brands. And here's the ones I love
- OPI barefoot in barcelona ( every day kind of colour) I wear this all the time
- Sephora by OPI metro chic, a beautiful winter colour matches with every thing you wear
- China Glaze For Audrey Pretty and fun summer colour. gives a bright and lively impression.

That's all for 2010. Just felt like 2010 went by so fast and didn't have enough time to appreciated it. Just been busy working instead should've enjoy life more.

Thats all for now. Take Cares until next post ^^

[][]Recent Favourites[][]

Hey all
Some one requested me to do a hair tutorial, I'm not sure how I go about that. Because My hair is permed so after hair wash it's already wavy. but any how I try to explain and show you guys the products I used and things like that.

So today is going to be some Recent Favourites, I was going to do a November favourites but I didn't have the time, and it's mid of December and so can't really call it monthly favourites right?
So any hows... on with the post. Here's the items:

- China Glaze nail polish in For Audrey. Really nice colour for summer, very light fresh and fun. gives a feeling of beautiful blue summer blue sky. LOL

- Estee Lauder Double Wear in Fresco. I really really really like this foundation, I tried Mac studio fix, revlon color stay and other ones I still find this one the best. Not particularly great for dry skin but I have combination skin and It is SUMMER now, SOOO hot out side. this stays put ALL DAY!!! No kidding. I'm a lazy person I hate touch up, The way this make up comes off a bit after a long day is pretty natural NO streaks, No patches, No ugly powdery looking. JUST Great. .. LOVE. Though I think Fresco is a bit dark for me now. When I finish this one I probably will go for Desert Beige. the lighter shade N1.

- Clinique All About Eyes. This is the Original Version not the rich one. I find this really great for summer around eye area, Gets rid of my puffiness, dry lines and etc. I accidentally got it in my eyes once, Didn't sting, just a bit uncomfortable after a few blinks it was fine. LOL silly me.

- Dolce Gabana Light Blue Fragrance. SOOO NICE. smells so fresh on me. Super nice summer fragrance, some ppl say it smells like toilet refresher on them LOL. I donno about that, but ON me It's a very fresh scent to begin with then tones down to a floral type of smell. I think it's quite refreshing for summer.

- Cezanne UV EX Powder Foundation in 02. This foundation is powder form I use it to set the Liquid foundation with a brush lightly dusted. I tried with a sponge before CRAZY coverage. All japanese magazine review it saying it's like number 1 or 2 powder foundation. I think It beats all the big brands. you can buy it from MAKEUPCELEBRITY. free shipping too. the colour 02 is pretty much like NC20 or NC25 ish. I use it for touch up as well I bring it with me. so the case is a bit scratched and stuff..

The next thing I love is mask after shower. GOSH These two My Beauty Dairy Masks are my favourite. Wine Yeast (SAKE) and White Rose mask. Great for hydration and nice cooling effect during those hot days/nights. hehe
Here's a picture of me with the mask and also doing a hair manicure (just leaving the conditioner for longer)..

And here's how the China Glaze Turned out. Fun colour. LOVE. I'm no pro at applying the nail polish.. quite messy job if you ask me. HAHAHA

[][][]Favourite Nail Colours [][][]

Hey all
I know I have never showed any nail related post, because my nails are UGLY.
I never do any manicure or any thing like that, just cut them regularly and bite them sometimes when I'm bored. But I do like some nail colours >< I'm not a bold coloured person, those bright yellow, oranges and reds, I don't think it would suit me. So I'm more into neutral, subtle colours.

So this post is just to show you my favourite nail colours.
L to R: Essie (eternal optimist, chinchilly, mink muffs and secret affair) L To R: Essie (not just a pretty face), OPI ( Barefoot in Barcelona), OPI sephora (metro chic), China Glaze (for audrey)

Um... The ones I wear the most is probably Barefoot in Barcelona, it's just a nice neutral earthy toned pink, not over the top goes well every thing you wear. For autumn, winter I like Mink Muffs and Metro Chic. modern elegant colours suits my skintone so well and Metro Chic is such a unique colour, purple with grey undertone may be even a bit browny, there are tones swatches online. For spring I think For Audrey is a very nice colour, fresh funky and elegant because it remind you of Tiffany & Co's blue.... I like it....

1) China Glaze probably have the most pigmented nail colours.
2) OPI has the easier application, very creamy smooth. Doesn't chip for 4 days with no top coat.
3) Essie is dependent, Depends on the colour you get. I used Not Just a Pretty Face, it chips like crazy after just one day. but Mink Muffs is fine.. Very nice after 3 coats.

What Am I Wearing NOW????
OPI Barefoot in Barcelona... The flash took a bit of the colour out >< But you can see swatches online just search in google...

And another picture. see how ugly my nails are?? T___T
That's all for Today.. Hope it helps ^^
I'm planning to get more OPI colours, because they are really creamy, nice and easy to apply. Thinking of getting Tickle My Francey next ................
